Technology is allowing more and more people to create spectacular things in ways our grandparents couldn’t have even imagined. Take these adorable figurines called “The Scrappies” designed by Ulrich Schwanitz to commemorate his 30th wedding anniversary. Inspired by junkyard findings, they were actually designed digitally and “printed” using a 3D printer that prints in bronze-infused steel and other fine metal powders.
